So, how?
So HOW does one meditate? Well there are a thousand ways. The underlying principle of most of them is to choose one object to anchor the mind to and continue to try to keep the mind focused on that object. When you notice the mind has wandered off your chosen focal point, you gentle and lovingly just bring the mind back to rest on the object. And you will do this over and over and over again, just like reps at the gym, until you notice one day that... the mind stays on t

Hanging out with puppy
We love puppies. So cute. No one likes a puppy that misbehaves, jumps up on you, bites you, pulls on your pant leg, chews your shoes, barks madly. An untamed puppy can be a real pain in the you-know-what. I love to see a puppy owner who is putting the time into their puppy to mold it into a good dog, time into showing it how to behave, what is expected out him or her. I love to see that. Puppies need that guidance, that time invested in them, so they can grow into mat

How to save the world
How to work unattached to outcome. To do the work for the work's sake, not expecting any fruits of your labour nor being attached to results or outcomes. This is karma yoga. fruit fast
Aah, it feels so good to get back to writing again. I used to write a lot in a journal. That dropped off a few years ago. I wrote a blog during my trips to India, I think it's still online. Now I tend to be a lot more moderate, about everything. I guess that is one of the joys of

wild website
Well, the website will never be done, let's just say that right now. It looks like something a child built but I can't tell you how much FUN I had designing it. Yes, I wanted to use every beautiful colour, font and every design, background and theme in the design of it, as you can tell, but I love it because actually, it kind of reflects who I am, I love colour, nature, variety, freedom, I don't like to follow the rules all that well. It reminds me of life; how we try to

Smile Asana
I am writing this post in pigeon pose because I am supposed to be doing my practice right now. :) Sometimes thoughts come. I've been thinking about "advanced yoga" and what that is exactly. I believe it is NOT more advanced asana, more poses that twist you up in more elaborate and tangled shapes. Though these can be a fun pastime and are sometimes necessary when your asana practice fails to challenge your breath and your mind any longer. Otherwise, I would like to sugg
