Freedom

I woke up this morning with an awesome feeling of freedom. Awe-some, awe-filled.

What is freedom?

I am sure it is different for everyone.

Freedom is one of my core values. I don’t know how it became that way.

This is what it is to me:

Sleeping when I am tired.

Waking up with the sun streaming onto my face.

No deadlines

No appointments

No schedule

Stopping anywhere

Leaving when you want

Coming back when you want

Yoga all over the place

Wading in the lake

Washing your face in it

Brushing your teeth in the forest

Earth underfoot

Blue water

No shoes

What is freedom to you?
