Sashimi and Avocado Salad
I just used some tuna belly (toro) sashimi left over from lunch at a restaurant and laid it over a bed of lettuce, with cucumber, tomato, fresh avocado, slivered onion,
also good with a few strips of dried nori. You could just stop by a Japanese restaurant (I like Eden on Lansdowne downtown) and pick up some take out sashimi of your choice.
Make the dressing and pour it over the salad.
Dressing:
1/2 of a fresh lemon
1 Tbsp soy sauce (or Braggs to be more healthy)
dash of wasabi (optional)
1/2 teaspoon of rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon of roasted toasted sesame oil
two drops of maple syrup
toasted sesame seeds to garnish
